Interests:	Civic affairs and local (Boston) politics; drawing and making natural history posters for Arnold Arboretum and DCR kiosks; First Church Boston; Dorchester Hist. Society. I like keeping up with family and love to travel internationally. We have a small condo and summer cottage in West Falmouth a little over an hour from here on the Cape. We are back and forth all the time - too involved in the City for now.
Biography:	We lived in New Haven CT for almost 40 years - very involved in city life.Retired to Boston 2001 and have lived on Beacon St. and now in the old Baker Chocolate Factory in Dorchester.
Family:	Husband, Bob, attorney, married since 1962 4 children, 9 grandchildren - all living in the northeast Parents died in 2007, Brother Tony still lives in Wellesley.
Education:	BA Sweet Briar College 1962 MS Education Southern CT State U 1969 Licensed Practical Nurse 1985
Work:	Trained as a teacher, but actually worked in horticulture, owned a horticultural maintenance company, went to nursing school aged 45, retired 1997 (replaced knees), moved to Boston 2001.
Achievements:	What have I achieved? Nothing earth-shattering! followed many dreams, helped build and nurture a family of good people,traveled all over the world, filling 35 journals with observations and drawings, created a tropical plant conservatory in New Haven, and in Boston I have been the LWV observer of the City Council for 11 years and am sometimes referred to as their 14th member!
Comments:	The greatest pleasure of the 50th for me was a gathering of old friends most of whom I had not seen in 50 years. We have met several times since. The stories we have heard about each other - funny, sad, heartwarming and showing that we each have a lot of life in us yet!!!
