Hello Classmates!
I'd
like to share the following with you sent to me
from Mrs. Jeanie Eaton Goddard; a teacher at
WHS.
"In February of 2012, our beloved WHS
will be torn down to make way for a new WHS.
Because so many of us discovered how to be
and how to think and how to teach and how to
greet the world and one another in the old
Building, we thought we should take the
opportunity to celebrate the corridors and
the stage and the gyms and the classrooms
before the new versions take their places in
future student hearts. The town has agreed
to give us this coming Thanksgiving week to
stage our events, and so we are scrambling
to plan and to invite and to orchestrate as
many activities and memories as we possibly
can. We are hoping to lure as many
alumni/alumnae as possible to participate in
seminars for the students, a performing arts
gala, and an open house."
